Having carefully considered the evidence and additional information, we retain our view, expressed in April 2018, that crucial elements of the Local Plan are neither sound nor evidence-based.  Some of our objections have been reinforced, rather than ameliorated, by the additional material now provided.

We are also concerned by what has been an increasingly confusing consultation process that has been extremely difficult for members of the public to engage with.  Appendix 1 provides a timeline of this consultation process.   The modifications to the Local Plan, first proposed in October 2018 and then withdrawn, but only after CLOUD and local residents had gone to the trouble of responding, are a particular example.
