Planning Policy Officer's Report on 19/01135/OUT 680 Houses North of Bailrigg Lane
This report was posted on the Planning Department site on 21 January 2020 and highlights a number of concerns about the development and makes the statement:
The identification of this area for strategic future growth has not gone unchallenged by both the local community and the development industry. It has received significant objection from a wide range of parties for a number of reasons and these remain unresolved through the examination process. Therefore the level of weight that can
be afforded to the identification of this area for future growth can only be limited in the context of paragraph 48 of the 2019 NPPF.
The report goes on to suggest that the application is premature, since we are still awaiting the Planning Inspector's report.
