Last year many of you responded to a consultation supporting Lancaster City Council’s Plan to require developers to build energy-efficient, cheap-to-run homes after a planning Inspector ruled the Council didn’t have the powers to do this. Well, the Inspector has withdrawn her objection. Now the City Council is consulting again on the policy. But many developers are arguing against it. Please take two minutes to respond and, if you have time and energy, also write to Lancaster’s Planning Department to show your support. Friends have created this website to guide you through the process.
