Outline application for residential development for up to 93 dwellings with access by Wain Homes. Land West Of Highland Brow, Galgate, Lancashire
In 2024, the Planning Inspector refused Wain Homes’ Appeal against Lancaster City Council's objection to 108 houses on land West of Highland Brow, Galgate, adjacent to Meadow Park. Wain Homes have reapplied for Planning permission for 93 dwellings on the same land.
If you have concerns about this application, register them with the City Council Planners.
The date the application will be discussed at the Planning Regulatory Committee is yet to be decided but you can comment up to the meeting. We will keep you posted.
If you have commented on the earlier application, do comment again if you are concerned about the new application.
Issues that might trouble you include:
surface water flooding, sewage system, traffic, air pollution, wild life disturbance, pressure on existing GP surgery and school.
