Galgate supporters of CLOUD may be interested that the following Planning Application has been made: 18/00335/FUL  Erection of 32 dwellings (C3) with associated access and landscaping.  Land At Chapel Lane Galgate Lancashire. Deadline for comments is 22 June 2018 is given to make a comment. Obvious concerns relate to further flood risk to Galgate and traffic flows along Chapel Lane, which is already increasingly hazardous. This is yet another greenfield site adjacent to Galgate being developed.
